Protective cases for pens

Overview

Even your pens may deserve some amount of protection. As I've mentioned many times if you drop your pen especially with the nib hitting the floor you can really damage your pen irreparably.

Considerations

• Rigid shells are best. And offer more protection than a soft shell. Either is better than not having a case.

• There should be some way to secure the pen inside the case so it isn't moving around.

• There should be some cushioning to protect the pen from sudden accelerations (i.e. being dropped).
