Older Wacom drivers

Overview

There are several ways of finding older Wacom drivers for your tablet.

Option 1 : Official Wacom support site

You can find older wacom drivers here: https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers

By entering the model name or number. The latest driver for th tablet is shown and link is provided to older drivers.

If you click on Older versions you'll find a small list of older driver versions

Option 2: Archive.org (for Windows drivers)

Click on SHOW ALL and you'll be taken to the list: https://archive.org/details/wacom-tablet-drivers-for-windows

Many versions of Wacom drivers are there:

  • Some very old

  • Some newer

  • They may not have the very latest versions though

NOTE: These drivers are stored on archive.org and don't come directly from Wacom's site. So, take prceaution against malware.

Option 3: Chocolatey (for Windows drivers)

If you know what Chocolatey is you can use it to get older drivers

LINK: https://community.chocolatey.org/packages/wacom-drivers

They seem to have many drivers from the most recent all the way back to August of 2021.

NOTE: These drivers are stored on the chocolatey repo and don't come directly from Wacom's site. So, take precaution against malware.

Option 4: SevenPens list of Wacom drivers

Based on crawling the sources above, I have an list of wacom drivers.

You can browse the list here: https://thesevenpens.github.io/Wacom-Driver-List/

At that location, you can also download the raw JSON which lists all the drivers.

Note that download links are historical. Older links may not work since Wacom seems to actively remove older downloads.

The source code for the viewer and the raw JSON are avialable in this repo: https://github.com/TheSevenPens/Wacom-Driver-List

This site does NOT store any drivers, it either links to Wacom's CDN or to a location on archive.org.
