Overview

Pens are the most sensitive component because they have some small parts and some moving parts. A fall onto a floor can damage your pen. The can completely break the internals of your pen.

What might happen

  • PRESSURE PROBLEMS

    • Complete loss of pressure sensitivity

    • Reversal of pressure sensitivity

    • No matter how hard you press, pen thinks you are pressing at full 100% pressure

    • Have to press (much) harder than before to draw

    • Pen can become too sensitive so you have to press much more lightly

    • Pen starts drawing or clicking even while it is hovering above the tablet

  • NIB PROBLEMS

    • Tip of nib can break, leaving the nib suck inside pen

    • Nib may fracture inside and be bent making it difficult to remove

  • PEN BODY PROBLEM

    • The tip of the pen can break and small pieces and come off

  • BUTTON PROBLEMS

    • Buttons may become non function

    • Buttons may act as if they are always pressed
